In 2024, we aim to launch a new program, the Civic Captain Initiative is a program focused on recruiting, training, and empowering student athletes from targeted states to utilize their platforms to organize their peers to vote.

The Civic Captain Initiative focuses on the following elements:

  • Lead volunteer voter registration and participation opportunities for student athletes focusing on the civic holidays including All Vote No Play Day.
  • Be a social media “civic” influencer utilizing NIL as a platform.
  • Aim to improve institutional civic and voting practices within athletic departments and their campus at large.
